Charleys Philly Steaks | A Review

It’s been super hot and muggy in Northeast Ohio over the past week and a half – almost too hot to get outside. We’ve been cooped up in the house, and we’re getting a little stir crazy, so I packed the kids up to take them to lunch at my just-turned-nine year old’s favorite place.

We were provided with gift certificates to facilitate this review, but we’ve loved Charleys for a long, long time.

 

Have you been? If you haven’t – make plans to go. Delicious! The Philly steaks are all made with 100% USDA Choice steak, the chicken is 100% white meat, and everything is made fresh to order.

There are Charleys Philly Steaks franchises all around the globe – at more than 500 locations! We went to the location in Chapel Hill Mall in Akron, Ohio. The kids love it because there’s a carousel and play area in the food court.

 

 

It’s hard to get my nine year old to try anything new when we go to Charleys Philly Steaks. She tasted the Chicken California from the kind gentleman who was offering samples (and who also helped us carry our order to the table, then helped me clean up the large Coke I spilled all over the table, my chair, and the floor – yes… I had four children with me and I was the one who spilled her drink!). She loved it, but couldn’t be convinced to switch from her favorite, and opted to order the classic Philly Cheese Steak, lemonade, and Cheese & Bacon Fries like she always does.

 

 

The littles and I opted to share a Chicken California and some Cheese & Bacon Fries of our own. So yummy.

It was a great treat – a delicious reprieve from the heat outside, but the little guy was sad when the fries were all gone…
