Brush Your Teeth!
I don’t know what’s with my kids lately, but getting them to brush their teeth has been a challenge. Thankfully, we eat pretty healthy foods, and our dentist – a good friend – comments regularly about my kids’ dental health.
But that doesn’t mean we don’t need help every once in awhile.

I’ve never really had to resort to crazy teeth-brushing methods before. In the past, I’d sing the Raffi song, or another one that we made up, and the kids would giggle and run into the bathroom to grab the OralB toothbrush with the princess or superhero of their choice, along with their favorite Crest for kids flavor, and we’d call it a day.
When I heard about the Disney Magic Timer app from Oral-B and Crest, and was offered the chance to write about it, I agreed because, well, Isaac just might be the death of me and I needed help.
He’s as fascinated with the iPad as the others, and I thought he’d love the chance to unlock hidden images just by brushing his teeth.
And I was right.
Better yet, the others aren’t complaining {or worse…pretending to brush their teeth when they’re really just running water into the sink}. Side note… seriously? Kids boggle my mind sometimes. It takes way more effort to pretend to brush your teeth than to just do it in the first place, right? Why even bother trying to pull one over?
