Mother’s Day is a month away, and I want to take a moment and say thank you to all of you out there doing what you do day in and day out.

It’s not easy.

It’s not always fun.

But it is worth it.

Homeschooling moms of gifted, twice-exceptional, and intense kids like me — and many of you — are often misunderstood and feel alone. I can’t be right there with you to encourage you on those long days, but I hope I can help in some way.

So…I’m giving away a big basket of books {and treats} to help you see you’re not alone.

Happy Mother’s Day

Awesome Resources for Moms of Gifted Kids - a Giveaway

From my earliest days in gifted education, Prufrock Press has had some of the best resources to get me through whatever I needed help with. That’s still true today. {And… I’ll admit that I’m a bit biased as I’ve published several books with Prufrock Press, have met their staff, and adore them…as people, professionals, and advocates for gifted education.}

So, when the iHomeschool Network bloggers got together to offer a BIG Mother’s Day gift basket blog hop, I knew I wanted to offer you all some of my favorite support resources from Prufrock Press to encourage you along the journey of parenting and homeschooling your gifted kids.

And I asked Prufrock Press if they would be willing to sponsor an amazing collection of books.

Boy did they come through! And I threw in a few things of my own that I find absolutely necessary to get through life parenting kids like ours — namely chocolate and coffee.
